This article helps answer:

What are the early symptoms of pregnancy?

Am I pregnant?

How do I know if I am pregnant?

Many women will start feeling and discovering symptoms of pregnancy very early on. Although you may be very excited, please remember that the only way to confirm pregnancy is to use a home pregnancy test kit or go to the hospital to find a doctor for a pregnancy test. If you think you may be pregnant, please confirm your suspicion through a pregnancy test.

What are the early symptoms of pregnancy?

From the moment of conception, your body will begin to change. Although these changes may be difficult to detect with the naked eye at least initially in appearance, you will start to feel the difference after a few weeks.

Up to 80% of women experience morning sickness symptoms such as nausea and vomiting during early pregnancy

Morning sickness/morning sickness: Due to an increase in pregnancy hormones in the body, up to 80% of women may experience morning sickness symptoms such as nausea and vomiting in the early stages of pregnancy. Many people misunderstand that morning sickness only occurs in the morning, but in fact, morning sickness can occur at any time, even at night. One in every five pregnant women will occasionally experience nausea and vomiting symptoms during mid pregnancy, or even throughout the entire pregnancy.

If you have morning sickness, try to stay away from or eat less food that makes you feel nauseous, avoid eating greasy and spicy food, and drink plenty of water. Breast changes: Your breasts may start to enlarge and you may feel swelling and pain. The nipple will become larger, darker, and more prominent.

Fatigue: High levels of progesterone not only increase the burden on your body, but also make you more prone to feeling tired. So when you sit or lie down, try to raise your feet as much as possible. In terms of diet, try to satisfy your appetite as healthily as possible (pay special attention if you have morning sickness).

Emotional fluctuations: Due to the influence of high progesterone levels, it is normal for you to experience emotional fluctuations more easily than usual. Try to make your partner and friends understand and empathize with your situation more.

Taste change: You may suddenly feel disgusted or crave certain foods. Unless your taste becomes particularly strange, such a transformation is actually not a big problem. If you are concerned, you may consult with professional medical staff for advice.

Urinary frequency: During pregnancy, your body fluids increase and the uterus presses on your bladder, causing you to use the toilet more frequently. When feeling the need, one should go to the bathroom to reduce unnecessary pressure on the bladder.

Dizziness and blurred vision: Due to hormonal changes, you may occasionally feel dizzy. So try not to stand for too long. After sitting or lying down, get up slowly. If dizziness persists and is severe, you need to see a doctor immediately.

Constipation: Due to hormonal changes during early pregnancy, gastrointestinal motility slows down, and you may begin to experience constipation. To relieve constipation, you need to eat a lot of high fiber foods, drink plenty of water, and maintain moderate exercise. Before taking any laxatives, it is necessary to consult a doctor's opinion.

Heartburn: Due to hormonal changes during early pregnancy, you may experience symptoms of indigestion, such as heartburn (acid reflux), which is a feeling of pain or discomfort in the chest or abdomen. To relieve the burning sensation, you should eat regularly and reduce the portion size of each meal; Avoid eating fried or spicy food and drinking carbonated drinks. If necessary, you can inquire with a doctor about the antacids that can be taken during pregnancy.
